Getting tested for sleep apnea is easy and comfortable. If you suffer from sleep apnea symptoms, it is critical for your health to be evaluated and treated. We will show you how our technicians set you up for a relaxing night of sleep. First, the sleep technician attaches the electrodes to various points on your body to measure sleep stages, heart rate, and muscle activity. Once the electrodes are secured, the respiratory sensor is put in place. Our bedrooms and beds are very comfortable, and with a few extras you would not find at the Hilton.

A noise machine is on throughout the night to block out any noise that the patient may otherwise hear and be disturbed by. Depending on precisely which test you are undergoing, a CPAP titration may be required, which is a mask that delivers air to keep your airway open. A microphone is also located in the room for monitoring snoring. And the camera allows us to monitor any unusual sleep activity without disturbing you. Meanwhile, at the main desk, the data collection begins.

From the moment you fall asleep, the sleep technician looks for occurrences of apneas, snoring, sleep stages, and muscle activity. Data is captured and monitored in real time. If we determine that you suffer from sleep apnea, we will prescribe a CPAP machine for home use. It is easy to put on before you go to sleep, and small enough for travel. There are several types of CPAP masks, and you can choose the one that fits you best.

So pack a bag and get ready for a good night's sleep and be on your way to more restful nights, restorative sleep, and a better quality of life.
