RockTape - Kinesiology Tape Instruction - Olecranon Bursitis

Author: RockTape Go Stronger, Longer

Here we’ll detail the steps on applying RockTape Kinesiology Tape for Olecranon Bursitis. This application can reduce pain and decrease inflammation. Start with our standard 2 inch tape and measure from above to just passed the elbow. Measure a second strip from one side to the other around the elbow. Round the tape’s corners to avoid catching on gear or clothing. To create the window, fold the tape in half and cut 2 inches down the center from the fold. Stretch the skin by flexing the elbow, touching thumb to shoulder. With the first strip, tear an end then anchor to the forearm just above the elbow.

Pull away the release paper taping towards the elbow. Stop midway to position the window around the affected area. Lay down the end with no stretch and carefully rub to activate the adhesive.

For the second strip, anchor to the outside of the elbow. Pull away the release paper taping towards the elbow. Stop midway to position the window around the affected area. Lay the end down with no stretch and carefully rub to activate the adhesive. Thanks for watching! Check out our other videos for more movement and taping tutorials to help you go stronger, longer.
